BIKE FEST POSTPONED
Hawaii Cycling Club regrets to announce that Kona Bike Fest 2023, scheduled to take place Saturday, April 22 has been postponed until further notice. This event,
free of charge and open to the general public of all ages, is intended to teach basic bike handling and agility skills, provide instruction on safe bicycle riding, and
engage the entire family for a short group ride to implement newly acquired skills. We thank our partners Hawaii Island Community Health Center and PATH for their
participation and continuing support of this event. Hawaii Cycling Club endeavors to reach the general public on the Big Island to promote safe bicycle riding and support
the cycling community. Mahalo to those who have registered in advance. Please look for announcements for this event in the future.

Bike Rodeo – Try your hand at biking through a fun obstacle course to develop agility, bike handling skills, make new friends, and just have fun. 9:00am – 10:00am
Bicycle Safety Training , a one-hour, organized bicycle handling and safety training. Curriculum and safety training provided by PATH instructors. 10:00am – 11:00am
2-mile Family Fun Ride – Ride out and back on Ane Keohokalole Hwy to Hina Lani from the West Hawai’i Civic Center. Apply your bike handling and safety skills in a real world situation. 11:00am – Noon. Meet at the Civic Center
Bike Swap Meet – Bring your new, used or under-utilized bicycle gear to swap, barter, buy or sell with others in the Big Island bicycle community. Ground space will be provided for those registered in advance. Your own tent and/or table is welcome (8:30am – Noon).

All ages are welcome! PATH has a limited number of bicycles and helmets for youth riders, ages 8 – 12. Helmets and closed toed shoes are required for all riders.
