Big Island Time Trial Championship
When: December 9th @ 0730
Where: Kaiminani Dr.
Registration: Opens November 7th
Event Details:
The BITTC will start on Ka'iminani Dr. about 200 feet Mauka of the Queen Ka'ahumanu Dr. and go North for 15.8 miles to the Landfill Turnoff (Puuanahulu Landfill Rd).
1. Pre-registration is required & registration closes December 6th

TANDEM - Non - E bike, Tandem - E Bike, Mountain and Gravel Bikes
***Volunteers - Volunteer for the race and compete later Saturday or anytime on Sunday, December 11, 2022
2. Your start/helmet number and other information will be emailed the day before the race.
3. Pick up helmet numbers/sign in: 6:50 AM - 7:10 AM on Pukiawe St. off of Kaiminani Dr.
4. Pre Race Meeting: 7:10 - 7:20 AM on Pukiawa St. - Photo Op!!
5. Line up in helmet number order: 7:20 AM on Kaiminani Dr.
6. START: 7:30 AM on Kaiminani Dr.
7. Each competitor after 1st racer will start at a minimum 30 seconds later. The start time interval could be longer at the Starter's discretion (Something always comes up to disrupt the starting process requiring the starter to take addtional time to start a cyclist in an orderly manner).
FORMAT:
Participants will be seeded slowest to fastest. During the registration process each competitor will provide their estimated average miles per hour. This and previous finishing mph's will be used to establish the seeding.
After the first rider starts, the remaining participants will start in helmet number order approximately 30 seconds after the previous starter.
Pre-registration is required and all participants must be HCC members - Either 1 year, one day or a K-12 Student. Memberships are available through the registration process.
HCC MEMBERS: Pre-registering at bikereg.com/bittc2022 is free to HCC 2022 annual members.
Non-HCC Members must purchase, during the registration process, a one day membership/insurance wavier for $10 plus bikereg.com/bittc2022 fees.
FREE STUDENT MEMBERSHIPS: K-12 students are eligible to sign up for a free 2022 membership - bikereg.com/bittc2022. The Membership/Insurance wavier must be signed by a parent or guardian.
ALL PARTICIPANTS - including current HCC Members - MUST ELECTRONICALLY SIGN THE ON-LINE INSURANCE AND COVID WAVIERS.
