The HCC website committee encourages members and others to contribute to this website. We need your help to keep things fresh, relevent, interesting, entertaining, and informative. Please! Send us photos, event information, stories, and articles related to bikes, bicycling, racing, advocacy, safety, fitness, equipment and more.

To help get your contribution onto the site, we recommend that you use the following guidelines if possible. We'll be refining these guidelines (to add more options, we hope) as we learn.

Articles, Stories and other Text items.

Text is best sent as the body of an email (Cut and then Paste into the email.), or as a plain text file (.txt). These should easily paste into the website documents.


Photographs

If possible, please send photos via email. These should be trimed of extraneous matter (especially scans) reduced to 300x400 pixels or less and saved as JPEGs (.jpg or .jpeg or .JPG or .JPEG) in order to reduce download time. We may reduce some pictures further to help keep site pages loading quickly.


If any contribution is not your original work, we need to know that.
