The Course
A challenging and hilly three-mile loop starting
and finishing at the State Maintenance Yard on Old Kalanianaole Road. The
course will be raced clockwise from the start onto Kalanianaole Highway
and back onto Old Kalanianaole Road. The course is located approximately
one mile toward Waimanalo from Castle Hospital on Kalanianaole Highway.
Parking will be across from the maintenance yard. A feed zone will available
near the start/finish line. Feeds may be received only from this area,
on the right side of the road.
Preregistration
The registration fee is $20.00 (Juniors $10.00). This includes HSCA fee and insurance, and the cost of extensive road coning. For preregistration by mail, entries must be postmarked before Wednesday, July 24, 2002. Mail or deliver entries to John B. Kelley, c/o Alexander & Baldwin, Inc., 822 Bishop Street, Honolulu HI 96813-3924.

Race-Day Registration, One-Day Licensing and Check-In
Race-day check in, late registration (same fees) and one-day licensing will begin at 6:15 a.m.
Race check-in closes 15 minutes before the start of each race. All riders must complete and sign a standard USCF Athlete's Competition And Release Agreement. Licensed riders must present their USCF licenses. Unlicensed riders must complete a USCF one-day license application form at check-in and pay an additional $5.00 license fee. Unless otherwise directed by USCF officials, all male one-day licensed riders will race as Sr. Men 5, all female one-day licensed riders as Sr. Women.
